The Lonely Life of a Teenager - Draft Feedback
A lot of the feedback we received on our draft was very positive, however, we also received some feedback concerning the aspects of the film which we could improve on.
Some of the positive feedback we received includes: good use of editing to connect shots together, fitting music throughout the entirety, good use of multiple extras, unique and interesting camera angles and a good sense of location - the shots seemed to fit together as the locations were similar and the transitions were clear.
Some of the parts we could improve on include: the titles, to improve the titles we are going to make the font seem more interesting (at the moment we are searching for a font that looks like it could have been drawn to fit in with the school setting) and make them brighter so that they stand out more. The voice-over volume, this is relatively simple to solve as the only issue was that at some points the voice-overs were somewhat difficult to hear as the music was too loud. In one shot, there is something in the bottom right corner (I think its someone's thumb) and to fix this we will simply film the shot again and be sure to not have the object in the shot. An interesting idea was to add something towards the end of the film i.e. a short conversation as at the moment we only have voice-overs as the only form of dialogue. Another interesting idea was to do more in the post-production, one concept suggested was to use a split screen or add special effects such as a colour filter.
